Agostini Andrea

Andrea Agostini was born in Ancona in 1964.
After his arts studies he graduated at ISIA (Industrial Design Institute) in Urbino.
In 1989 he taught graphic design at F. Depero School of Art in Rovereto (Trento). In 1990, he started his career in the clothing industry dealing with styling, visual communication and graphic design.
After a long period in this field, he experienced his artistic change which now represents a considerable part of his professional life.
His works or “communications” (as he wants them to be called) are displayed in various art galleries throughout Italy and they are also used in congresses and seminaries on the subject of the world of children and school.
He solely represents ArtFlux in the exhibitions, in the publication of serigraphic editions and in the distribution of unique works.
He published various illustrated editions of books like “Peter Pan” by J.M. Barrie for Modric Publishing and “Raccontami una fiaba” (Tell me a fairy-tale) for the intercultural project of Marche region.
He is always invited to participate to international exhibitions of illustrations on the children’s rights and, at the same time, he holds communication seminaries and labs in the schools.
From 2005 to 2008, he taught “visual/design techniques and representation” at ISIA in Urbino.
Since 2008, he has been teaching basic design at the International School of Comix in Jesi (Ancona).
He lives, works and dreams in Falconara Marittima (Ancona).
